Till now Rule 17A required that any change shall be intimated electronically online, within fifteen days, The Rule covered several\naspects of information about the NGO registered or having prior permission\nincluding changes in key members of the association if at any point of\ntime such change causes replacement of <strong>fifty<\/strong>\npercent or more of the original key members as reported in the application for\ngrant of registration\/ prior permission\/ renewal of registration under the\nAct&nbsp;[in Form FC-6E].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However now the Home\nMinistry\u2019s new Notice states that all changes must be updated \u2018online\u2019 in real\ntime. That means one needs to update all changes as and when the change occurs.\nIt may be noted that earlier it was required only when more than 50% change\nhappens from the date of position as included in the application submitted for\nregistration \/ prior permission. In fact, earlier online Form did not have\noption to make this change if changes were less than 50%. Earlier the Rule 17A\nwas for intimation, but now the Notice states that it has to be \u2018approved\u2019.\nThis makes a marked change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notice requires the\nNGOs to submit applications for addition\/ deletion\/change of details about\noffice bearers\/ key functionaries by <strong>7<sup>th<\/sup>\nJuly 2019<\/strong>, failing which penal action will be initiated against them.\nAlthough presently the Form is not updated for individual changes, we hope it\nwill be soon amended to allow the NGOs to update necessary changes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One\nclarification, which was not their earlier has also come that in case Chief\nFunctionary is not a Trustee \/ member, still his\/her details should be\nintimated, since the applications are required to be signed by Chief\nFunctionary only. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">_______________ \u200e<br> <strong>Socio Research &amp; Reform Foundation (NGO)<\/strong><br> \u200e512 A, Deepshikha, 8 Rajendra Place, New Delhi &#8211; 110008<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Home Ministry has now come with a notice requiring all registered NGOs to update all changes in office bearers.
