We have registered Trust under FCRA since 1999. As per rule we have already apply for FCRA Renewal on 29 Apr 2015, but till date not receive any intimation or letter from FCRA division. My question is what we do for the same? I have mailed to FCRA division but not received any reply. Please suggest where we know the application status?

For depositing FC-5 ,WHAT DOCUMENT’S WILL ATTACHED?Please mail a copy of fill up FC-5 form.
We have applied with hard copy and a demand draft of Rs 500/- as mentioned earlier, will that stand or we have to re-apply on line?

What you say is the type of frustration being felt by all the FCRA registered NGOs who have complied with the rules as prescribed under FCRA Rule 12 (3), which states ‘A person implementing an on-going multi-year project shall apply for renewal 12 months before the date of expiry of the certificate of registration’. As Dept. has kept totally quite on this issue, making applicants fidgety and not knowing what to do, we at SRRF has received a large number of queries.
However I am happy to inform you that we have since received an official mail from FCRA Dept, Shri AK Dhyani, Under-secretary, stating that the process of renewal will start from November onwards. So we hope soon, your wait will end.

Since October 31st is the last date for the renewal applications to reach the FCRA dept., I believe they will start processing all the applications received, from 3rd Nov. Monday onwards. Those applications which have all the details in order may be cleared in scrutiny and for those applications which require additional details, such details will be collected by contacting the applicants. Those with past adverse records may be rejected renewal. As all these renewal applicants will have registration valid till April 2016, the renewal orders may be issued in batches before March 2016. Since all the applications are received by post, the dept. could not even send them individual acknowledgement because of the voluminous work. Let us see if they acknowledge the receipt either by post or by e-mail in the month of Nov. 2015.
