This is just a reminder to those who have not yet applied for renewal of their 12A & 80G certificates. Please note last date for applying is 30th June 2021.
If not applied by that date, your existing registrations of 12A and 80G will no longer be valid, unless the government gives special extension.
Applications for renewal have to be filed online, don’t wait for the last date. Often on last dates one may face heavy traffic, and may not be able to access the website so easily, so the suggestion is that please complete the task of filing the returns at the earliest.

However still problems in filing of Form 10A through Digital Signatures, so you may have to use EVC only.

The new portal is full of glitches , Form 10A which was available for e filing in the earlier website is not available in the new portal. No means to apply online. Has any announcement been made regarding this vital issue ? Please inform. Thanks

We run a school, Vimukti Special School, to train mentally challenged children. For donations, we want to renew our registration under 12A and 80 G. But we understand from our auditors that there are issues with the Income Tax site. We wonder how we can complete the renewal by the stipulated deadline of 30 June 2021.

Yes we all are waiting. Finance Minister had a meeting on 22nd June 2021 with Infosys and ICAI representatives. She asked Infosys to reslove issues brought out by ICAI. Let us hope there will be some progress.
the new income tax portal is not fully operational in so far as the online renewal forms are concerned. for eg., the form 10A still displays the assessment year as 2020-21 instead of 2022-23 as it was in the old portal. the old portal`s functionalities were very user friendly and the display on the screen was logical.
the dsc re-registration functionality in the new income tax portal is yet to made functional.
unless these issues are ironed out, i am afraid the last date for filing of renewal application has to be extended.

The new webportal of Income tax Department is not working from 7th June onwards after the upgradation/modification. We are unable to access or getting any formats. How to do and resolve this issue. As per Ministry of Finance, GOI, they will resolve the issue but nit yet. Any suggestions on this please
