FCRA Notice asking to file Annual Returns already filed.

Dear Sir,

We have received a notice from FCRA department asking to file Annual Returns for some previous years.
However, we have been regular in filing the returns within due date and all these returns are also appearing on the FCRA Portal, still this notice is stating that this is the last chance to submit it.
What does it meant for?

May I request you to throw some light on it?

Regards
Prabhat Kumar

One Response to FCRA Notice asking to file Annual Returns already filed.

This is not first occasion, that I have heard about such instances.

Since you have already filed the return, my suggestion is that please write to FCRA Dept on mail at support-fcra@gov.in or any other email id given in your communication, informing the Dept that you have filed the returns, alongwith all the evidences in form of acknowledgements, screeen-shots, (including screen shot where all these returns are appearing on the portal), etc. You may even send a response through Speed-post that you have already filed the said returns. This seems to be the only thing that you can do.
